Reisvoorwaarden en reisovereenkomst

Wij zijn een kleinschalig opererende organisatie en onze omzet is (nog) niet groot genoeg om ons aan te sluiten bij organisaties zoals ANVR, SGR en CALAMITEITEN FONDS. Voor onze gasten minimaliseren we financieële risico's door gunstige voorwaarden die omschreven staan in onze "Terms and Conditions" (waarvan de tekst hieronder afgedrukt staat) en door betalingen aan derden niet eerder te doen dan noodzakelijk is, zodat tot enkele dagen voor aanvang van de reis de reissom in geval van afzegging of calamiteit nog grotendeels terugbetaald kan worden.

Uiteraard dient u zelf te doen wat u kunt om financieële risico's te vermijden door het afsluiten van een goede reisverzekering en een annuleringsverzekering

Nadat wij met onze klanten tot overeenstemming gekomen zijn over het reisprogramma en de reissom, sluiten wij een Reisovereenkomst af die door beide partijen ondertekend wordt. Hierin staat duidelijk vermeld: de reisduur, het programma, de reissom en betalingstermijn en wat wel- of niet is inbegrepen in de reissom.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

Tour-bookings will be valid consequent to Yared's Tour & Travel confirmation of the booking by fax, email or letter. Contracts and Tour-Agreements will only be valid after being signed by both parties.
Immediately after signing the Contract or Tour-Agreement, 10% of the total Tour price has to be paid.
The remaining payment as written in the Contract or Tour-Agreement must be paid 35 days before the commencement of the Tour.
If at that time complete payment has not been received, Yared Tour & Travel is not indebted to conduct the Tour.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of confirmed bookings by client(s) due to personal circumstances after signing the Agreement up to 35 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total Tour Price.
By cancellations received 34 days up to 25 days before commencement of the Tour 15% of the total Tour Price has to be paid.
By cancellations received 24 days up to 1 day before commencement of the Tour 25% of the total Tour Price has to be paid plus advance payments which are already done by Yared Tour&Travel (for example for domestic flights, hotels and car(s) and which will not be refunded by this third parties.
If after commencement of the Tour, the Tour has to be stopped in an early stage because of personal circumstances of the client, Yared Tour&Travel cannot guarantee any refund but will do its best to refund expenses which are not yet paid.
If one or more clients cancel a Tour and the remaining clients want to let the Tour continue, the Price will be adapted for the remaining clients and those who have cancelled will pay the above written cancellation fee(s). If remaining clients don't agree with the new Tour Price, Yared Tour&Travel is not indebted to conduct the Tour.
CANCELLATIONS DONE BY THE CLIENT(S) OR BY YARED TOUR&TRAVEL IN CASE OF NATURAL CALAMITIES, POLITICAL UNREST OR WAR: the same conditions as mentioned above.

We strongly recommend our clients to effect cancellation insurance.

GUARANTEE:

If Yared Tour&Travel has to cancel a Tour, due to personal or financial circumstances we will offer the client to let the Tour be executed by another recommended Ethiopian Travel Agent. If the client doesn't agree with our proposal, we guarantee the following refund:

• After signing the Contract or Agreement up to 25 days prior to departure: 100% refund.
• 24 - 1 days prior to departure: 100% refund minus advance payments which are already done and which will not be refunded by third parties.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

The staff of Yared Tour & Travel will conduct every Tour as agreed with every individual client to the best of their ability. If despite this you have any complain during the Tour, contact the YTT office in Awassa as quickly as possible so we can do our best to solve the problem(s).
However, Yared Tour&Travel cannot be held responsible for cancellations in case of unrest, war or natural calamities and over-bookings made by third parties such as hotels, airlines, transport companies or other Travel agencies. Although we only make use of safe and well insured cars and other materials and every possible care is taken to safeguard our clients and their properties, Yared Tour & Travel cannot be held responsible for any loss or harm of personal goods, consequences of sickness, accidents or calamities.
All extra costs resulting from above mentioned situations are for the client's own account. Yared Tour&Travel will use its best efforts to assist as an agent for our clients in dealing with third parties and in cases of need such as theft, sickness, injuries or other calamities.
All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia.

Our clients are obliged to travel with a good travel- and health insurance.

PRICES

Tour prices can be provided upon request. Prices are not fixed but depend on infrastructure prices (depending on the season), hotel-, salary- and fuel prices and currency exchange rates.
Yared Tour&Travel has the right to adapt an earlier given price up to 35 days before commencement of the Tour. After payment of the total Tour price by the client(s), no adaptations will be made.
